Oddly, while it may cost extra on some cars, it is a standard metallic up-charge on the x3. Go figure. I had a customer with an X5 in that color a few years ago. They wanted the same color in their new one but, even though it was available as an Individual color on an X5 M50, they wouldn't do it on the X5 40i even if the customer paid the Special Paint fee of $5000, while in the same paint shop they were painting X3s in that same color for only the basic metallic charge. This is what makes this business so much fun and has our customers thinking we're lying to them all the time.
