I made a few candy crane machines into small plush crane machines as I received a ton of candy cranes.
People seemed to want plush more then candy cranes.
What I did to convert from candy to crane:
Set board play til you win -> OFF. Some earlier crane boards do not have this option. Fix-> cover laser and disable speaker/ sound.
Knock out small piece of wood right where it drops the candy above the door. Easier for plush to drop. I also took the door off and bent the L shape into an I so you could access the won plush better.
Take coil out of original candy claw and replace in this one. (New coil seems a bit strong so that is why original one is better).
I used original claw string. Just remove from original candy claw and put on the new claw. Worked better.
Put included marquee behind a new piece of plexi after removing old marquee.
Removed gold flaking side and front T-Molding. Installed black.
