Hi Jennifer, the Altitude grip socks have been tested on our trampolines and therefore we know they are safe for jumping on our trampolines. If you have a pair of trampoline socks from another park, you are welcome to exchange them for ours when you come in to jump with us.
Hi my name is Jack and I am 11 years old. I adore trampolining and also care strongly for the environment.
I've been to many brands of trampoline parks and you usually have to buy new socks specifically for the brand of park that you go to. The parks say that their socks are safest and this is the reason no other socks are allowed in their parks.

But I cannot believe that there is not a way around this situation. There are already some parks who do allow any brand of gripped trampoline sock to be worn, like: I-Jump Trampoline Park, Infinity Trampoline Park, Hangar 5 and Xtreme360 Trampoline Park. If these parks allow grip socks from any trampoline parks, then I am sure other brands can also find a way to do this.
I have been thinking about how all trampoline parks could have a shared sock policy which means one type of sock could be used in any place. These are some ideas:
- I believe they could design a pair of socks that can be sold and used in all the parks.
- People could wear trampoline socks on top of their normal socks so they can return the socks after their session to be re-used by another visitor.
I believe a single sock policy could be an easy, effective way to help make trampoline parks more environmentally friendly. If trampoline parks are to be enjoyed in the future, then they need to consider ways to be more eco friendly as the world is warming and everybody needs to play their part in saving the planet. Reducing waste is key to this.
As I see it now, many trampoline parks are wasting resources through their policy around sock use. The evidence I have is that:
- On many occasions I have seen pairs of trampoline socks in the bin at a trampoline park because people know that they are not going to use them again.
- Children are one of the main customers of trampoline parks. Their feet grow rapidly which means that when they return to parks, their feet may have grown out of socks they bought before.
- I know lots of children who have many pairs of trampoline socks in their wardrobes sitting with no use at all. These socks are completely wasted as there is no use for them in daily life and we might not return to the same brand of trampoline park again so we may potentially only use them once.
I have written a letter about this to the majority of trampoline parks in the UK and I am hoping that they will start thinking about changing their sock policies as a result.
Please sign and share this petition to help show the parks that this is a subject many people care about and to help persuade them to change.
I believe that every single park can make a difference. But if we can encourage the parks to work together that would be the best outcome as the problem of waste cannot be completely solved by one park alone.
These are all the trampoline parks I have contacted: Flip Out, Gravity, Oxygen, Jump In, Rush UK, Jump Giants, Buzz, Jump Xtreme, Boost, Freedog, AirHop, Jump Evolution, Fusion, Better, Skyline.
