I found my 3 cosytoes were all too small for my DD toward the end of last winter, she was 2 in March and she isnt a very big child so it was frustrating: they were a mamas and papas for the Pliko, babystyle Lux leatherette to match the classic Lux pram, and Jeep for the shopper 6 pushchair. I've recently purchased the "in the night garden" pram blanket (mothercare sell them but I got mine of ebay) it has two velcro bits to attach to the buggy and a big that wraps around babys legs to keep them snug, its great because its open at the bottom so I dont have to worry about her shoes getting it dirty (always a problem with a walking tot and cosytoes - I was constantly washing them!) and the velcro straps keep it from falling off the buggy like a normal blanket would.
I've heard that the buggy snuggle cosytoes are quite long and better for using with older tots.

Hi ladies, I am preparing for the arrival of number 2 now in Dec and there will be 15 months between my babies. I've recently bought an out n about double and have to get a newborn insert too which comes to 575 (I bought my pram in the North, saving about 75). Like others, money is very tight here atm as I'm a sahm.
My question is, do I need to buy footmuffs? I was looking at the out n about ones and for two it'll come to approx 160. It's a heck of a lot of money and we've just insured, taxed, serviced and nctd 2 cars which amounted to 's and 's so we're completely broke!lol
Can anybody recommend footmuffs? Are the out n about ones worth it? Are there other alternatives? I'll happily go without other things for myself if the footmuffs will keep my babies warm throughout the winter but if they're a bit hit n miss ill just skip them lol.
Thank you x
